National Shrine of the Infant Jesus – Prague, Oklahoma

Anthony & I ventured to Prague, Oklahoma yesterday afternoon. There are signs on the I-40 about the National Shrine of the Infant Jesus in Prague. Anthony has always been curious and since we’ve been exploring more about the state we both grew up in, it was perfect for us to go visit. The first picture is of the Infant Jesus with Mary and Joseph. The second picture was off to the side of the altar, and its only a few of the outfits the church puts on Jesus during different liturgical seasons. It was very impressive.

Anthony loves the Infant Jesus.

This may be sacrilegious.

Ms. H and Family – Norman, OK

Saradee and I were sorority sisters at OU and I was so glad when we got in contact about taking family pictures. And I couldn’t believe when I showed up and they were wearing red and brought a tutu with babylegs. I was in heaven! Thanks Saradee and family for enduring the Oklahoma heat to get some of these pictures.

We ventured into the Great Reading Room where its suppose to be quiet all the time. Thankfully there was only one guy in studying and he left for a little bit while we were taking the pictures. So we could be loud if we needed to.

WOW!! The shot of her in the tutu in front of the door is just perfection- that needs to be a canvas!!! I love it!

Route 66 – Oklahoma

We made the trek down Route 66 to Pops for dinner this evening. I am glad my aunt recommended it as it was a great place for food and opportunities for pictures! This is a year old restaurant near Edmond, OK on Route 66. Its very futuristic and they carry over 500 different sodas.

We also stopped at the Round Barn for a few more pictures (its about half a mile from Pops). This is my favorite of Anthony.

My mom took this picture of us. It was the only one that turned out of many many tries. Its hard to hand over my Canon 5D and have someone take a nice, in focus picture. Thankfully she was able to get one.

Wow!! You didn’t tell me about this part of your trip! The giant soda bottle is quite impressive.

Ramsey Family – Shawnee, OK

Amanda and my oldest brother grew up together, so she has been in my life for as long as I can remember. I was so glad that we were able to get together to do a session with her family. Ms. P is 6 months, laid-back and so adorable. Here are few from the session yesterday evening.

Randon

I can’t get enough of this little man.  I always love coming home to see him – and it always happens to be at big times (9 months, 1 year, 18 months, etc).  I got to do some shopping for this session and I’m glad my mom was up for just about anything.  If you’ve followed my blog, you may remember him from his days in the hospital with MRSA last August.  He was in the hospital for 40 days, and I think it set him back about that much.  He is so little – he still wears 9 months pants/shorts and barely wears 12 month tops.  But he is still precious and rotten to the core.  He’s going to be a big brother as well – that means I’m going to be an aunt again.  Get ready Randon!

He looks grown up here!
