Last night a group of professionals from the Central New Jersey area joined together for a tweet up. Most everyone who attended has a twitter account (you can find me at @kimschmidtphoto). We came together to discuss the power and usefulness of this social networking site that uses 140 characters to communicate. The Princeton Packet wrote up an article on the event. There were over 40 individuals who showed up from 12 different professional fields at Salt Creeke Grille. Here are a few photos from the evening.
@MrsMoNJ aka Hilary was a co-coordinator for this event. Her sidekick, @RealtorGirlNJ, aka Stacey, is the face at the bottom of the photo.

Saturday morning I had the pleasure of photographing this fun loving 10 week old. He was smiley, giggly, and gave me awesome eye contact! Mom & dad are totally in love with this sweet baby.
What a cutie! Love all the expressions you captured!
What a little doll!
Oh, how adorable! He has such gorgeous eyes! Great shots!
LOVE the first two. He looks like he’s full of personality and you did a great job capturing it.
What a sweet boy, I love that 4th one. Great work!
Such a happy baby and gorgeous! He is your whole world now, Doesn’t it make you wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.
I love the look on his face in that second one…so cute!
We love them all..can’t wait to see proofs…Colleen is right… guess we are late bloomers!
Last Friday I met up with a friend of mine, Lauren to take some newborn photos of Danny. He is such a sweet even-tempered child. Unfortunately I am under the weather or I’d post more about the session and more photos. I will come back at the beginning of next week to show him off a little more!
I’m obsessed with baby piggies!

On Sunday we headed up to NYC. We did the City Sights NYC bus tour and learned a ton of information about the city. We stopped at Central Park, Times Square, and then after the Lion King we had dinner and went down to the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a jammed packed day that’s for sure.
Waiting for the train at the Princeton Junction station.
This collage is a mix from our day in Philly & NYC. All are from my P&S. From L-R On the Philly Bus Tour, Top Floor at Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Inside Lion King Theater, Outside Lion King

Could the two of you be a cuter couple!? I’ll be in NYC in September…perhaps the Lion King should make it onto our schedule this time.
Seems like y’all had a great time!
Saturday we took a break from the hustle & bustle to celebrate birthdays. Anthony has two younger brothers and they all three celebrate birthdays in the month of July (actually within 5 days of each other). We celebrated in a quiet way by stopping at Halo Farms near the Trenton Farmer’s Market in the morning, a quick visit out to Terhune Orchards, and then a leisurely afternoon seeing Harry Potter.
I had never been out to Halo Farms (970 Spruce Street, Trenton, NJ (609) 695-3311), but had heard about it and even tried their ice cream before. We pulled up and were greeted by “cows” milling around on the side of the building. They were really creative in their placement of the cows, even had several around a “watering hole”. The big shocker to me was walking in and seeing the prices on everything. A half gallon of milk is currently $1.09. That beats any grocery store around here. Ice cream is buy 2, get 3rd free. We took advantage of the ice cream and ice tea. Too bad I had just bought a gallon of milk at the store two days before.
The family at Halo Farms (Noah, Taylor, Vicki, Gram, Anthony, Nanny)
The birthday boys; Taylor (21), Noah (15), Anthony (27)
Up next: Sunday in NYC
wow – they are certainly brothers! Happy Birthdays to them. Love the detail photos from the farm.
$1.09 for a half gallon is a GREAT deal! Too bad it wouldn’t make it to WA! ๐ What a good looking family!
These are great! Love the colors!
Sounds like our family with all the birthdays in July. My FIL is the 17th, the hub is the 18th and I’m the 19th. Also have sister, nephew and brother in law on 3, 4 and 9.
I’ve been to Halo Farm – my stepson used to go to Rider so we know things around that area kind of well.
What a fabulous special!!!
