 I love witnessing relationships grow over the years + this family is no exception. It’s been a year since our first session at their home. The boys may have run in different directions most of the session, but mom + dad did an amazing job of engaging + playing with their kiddos on Princeton University’s campus! I’m pretty much obsessed with every photo from this session – I wish I could share the family photos too but I don’t want to ruin any surprises for holiday cards!

Two years ago, I photographed this sweet family right after they moved to the area. It was SO wonderful to catch up with them again, to see how much they’ve grown, + all the activities they are now involved in. The first photo of the children with their dad was not prompted or planned. It says exactly how this family is, extremely loving + supportive of one another, even with teenagers in the bunch! I also adore that they kids thought it would be a great idea to have a photo taken with their respective shoes, to show the diversity of what they do but also how passionate they are.

choose kindness and laugh often | princeton family photographer

“choose kindness and laugh often” – this quote is exactly how I would describe my dear friend Carrie + her family.

If you’ve been following along long enough on the blog, you have definitely seen this family appear multiple times! When we met up on the Princeton University’s campus on a Sunday evening, it was unseasonably warm for late October plus we were up against a huge storm that was fast approaching. In the last photo of Carrie + Molly dancing, it was down pouring. I love that they were both up for a few last sweet photos, as the boys all ran back to the car. 🙂 Since Carrie is sending out Christmas cards, I held off on sharing any of the family photos, to not ruin the surprise!

Sal + I served on the leadership team of the BNI Tigers this past year, he as Vice President, myself as Secretary/Treasurer (wait long enough, you’ll see our president later this fall with her family!). When it was coming to the end of our term, we connected for updated headshots for him on a blistery, hot day!

Sal is a business coach with ActionCOACH. He provides business help, business advice, business coaching and mentoring services to small and medium sized businesses that are in a rut. I will tell you, he knows his stuff. He has kicked many a people into the right gear, to get their business to exactly where they want to be.

Deborah is another colleague that I met through the BNI Tigers chapter. She is a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, focusing on retirement planning, wealth management, estate planning strategies, + more. Deborah is also actively involved in the community, serving on the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation board, the vice chair of  the Capital Region Minority Chamber of Commerce, + a committee member on several events put on through the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce. Her passion for her work, for helping individuals shows through on a daily basis. You also can’t beat that beautiful smile on her face! Thanks Deborah for the opportunity!
