five on friday

There was a little break there of the five on fridays due to the craziness that is holiday season and will may just be my last one of the 2010 year (how on earth is 2010 practically over!?!?!?!)

1. The crazy holiday photo season is slowly coming to a close. Only a few last odd and end items are left before the holiday deadline of November 30th. I’ve loved every minute of this fall/holiday rush but definitely ready to enjoy the holidays with my honey!

2. Last Friday Anthony and I experienced Stromboli and beer at Stuff Yer Face in New Brunswick with our wonderful neighbors Jen and Phil. It was yummy – fattening, but so so delicious!

3. I just cashed in a helluva lot of rewards points for this beauty in Empire Red. I’ve been dying to have a 12 cup food processor for.ever. And I got it for “free”.

4. My mom is here visiting all the way from Oklahoma. Taking a break from my nephews and all things testosterone! GIRL TIME! We’ve been chattin’ it up, sewing, chatting, shopping, chatting, all the things that don’t happen enough throughout the year!

5. Next week is THANKSGIVING! Holy crap. Anthony and I are hosting our very first one this year with a big turkey! We are getting the turkey from Griggstown Quail Farm or as many around us know it as our farm share farm. They are free range (I’ve seen them running around so I know it’s legit!), hormone and antibiotic free precious turkeys! We are having people over and everything. Please pray that the turkey isn’t over or under cooked!

Love the food processor! I couldn’t live without mine, and I don’t even cook a lot! Good luck with the Turkey!

What a cool food processor and I love that you guys are hosting Thanksgiving!! Have fun!

family of five | princeton family photographer

Funny, outgoing, energetic, and lots of love are just few things that describe this family. We meandered along Princeton University’s campus, stopping to climb a tree (or two), hang on pillars, jump over polls and much much more. A little larger sneak peek because it took me a tad longer to get this up!

Handsome lookin’ young men!

You may not know it but these two guys are twins with gorgeous smiles!

The baby of the family!

Boys being boys!

Love the air that Skyler got on this one.

Ellie and Jeff remind me of Jada and Will Smith. Such (beautiful) lovebirds!!

I know it may be a tad early to really be thinking of holiday shopping, I’ve been doing a lot of it lately. I’m getting pressure from both my husband and my in-laws! What do I do?!?! Go scouring Etsy of course! I wanted to share a few items that I think are fab and hopefully to give you a few homemade ideas! I imagine lots of shops will have Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales so I’ll try to get another post like this up before Thanksgiving!

hunter | princeton child photographer

What a special little boy Hunter is. There is no way autism is holding this young boy back – he loves to read, play video games, play tennis, dance, and more! He is even a poster child for Autism Speaks. Thanks Dina and Kassie for everything you do on a daily basis!

This is probably my favorite photo of the entire bunch – love the real emotion from Hunter!

Apparently Marquand Park has lots of fly-overs via helicopters, small planes and even a few large ones. Almost every time we stopped and looked. I’m so glad I was able to capture this photo.

Yes we even did the marcarena and electric slide! Lots of fun dancing to the iPod touch!

He doesn’t look like a 9 year old does he? Way too sophisticated! (and if you notice he has the sleeves up as far as they would go – mom, the nanny, and I were bundled up, not this guy!)

Last one, playing in the sand!

Coming up tomorrow – a holiday gift guide!!!

logan | central jersey newborn photographer

Lauren contacted me after everyone told her that she didn’t need to get photos of her precious Logan as a newborn or to wait until after his arrival. Thankfully we were able to squeeze it in, even at one month old. He was alert but super precious nonetheless! And take a lesson from her – book your newborn session before the baby arrives. You won’t regret it! 🙂

This is one gorgeous, totally-in-love family!

This was the first session I got to play with my new Canon 16-35L lens and this photo of everyone on the bed is one of my favorites!

LOVE!

evelyn + adrian | new jersey wedding photographer

It was a brisk Halloween Eve as we celebrated the union of the beautiful Evelyn + handsome Adrian in Lawrence Township. It was a small, intimate party followed by a not-so-quick ceremony at the Mayor’s office. Guess who forgot to show? The mayor! Who called to confirm earlier that week and had told both the bride + groom that he had a wedding every weekend in October. Oops! The police finally got a hold of him, but unfortunately not before I had to leave. Congratulations Evelyn + Adrian!

You would never guess that we were freezing in these outdoor photos – total naturals!

The beautiful cake from Fedora Cafe in downtown Lawrenceville.

These two (Adrian’s brother and sister-in-law) were married only a few weeks before in Malibu, California. Still in that post-wedding bliss!!

Walking up to the Mayor’s office to find the doors locked and then everyone waiting around.
