eric + erin | new jerseey couples photographer

It’s been awhile since my brother Eric has been on the blog, and I love that the photos I get to share are of him happily in love. He and Erin eloped in June so while these are neither engagement or wedding photos, they wanted photos of their new blended family (three dogs of course!) to hang in their home. I’ve always been close to Eric, he’s only 17 months older than I am, we shared a room for a few years (that was a bit disastrous but we survived), we had many friends in common in high school, he’s been more protective of me than our older brother, etc. etc. etc. My family never in a million years thought Eric would find the love of his life and marry. He always told us he was destined for bachelor-hood for life. Luckily Erin came into the picture and changed everything! I have never seen my brother this happy before in my life and while there were times when I had to tell them to stop kissing or being “too in love”, I’m honored they chose me to take these photos!

year three with the j family | west windsor family photographer

Another year has passed since this lovely family had me snap family photos! This year we did an in-home fun shoot, with little S baking up a storm in her play kitchen, cupcakes + apples/honey, airplane in the living room, and so much more! Love the ideas mom + dad came up with this year!

What a fun session! Great job, Kim!

five on friday

1. Anthony + I are traveling quite a bit this fall (we are in Boston as I type.), if you are wanting a fall photo session, email me today! Weekend dates are filling up fast – there are only four dates left.

2. I’ve been cooking up a storm this summer/fall. Some of my favorite recipes are from Annie at Annie’s Eats. She is a rock star cook and I don’t believe I’ve made something from her blog that I didn’t like. You must check out her buns and pumpkin whoopie pies (fall is officially here so bring on the pumpkin!!!)

3. Bobby’s Burger Palace opened up recently at Market Fair. Holy moly, I won’t tell you how many times we’ve been (it’s a little embarrassing actually!). The burgers are pretty good and the fries with the amazing fry sauce – I practically dream about them! It’s within walking distance of us and I tend to make us walk there for punishment/exercise before we gorge ourselves silly! (and I secretly tell myself that since I continue to teach Zumba multiple times a week and run that I can be a little gluttonous!)

4. Last weekend we finished watching the first season of Downton Abbey. I remember hearing all the buzz when it was airing but we never put it on the TiVo. What were we thinking?!?! And why on earth did we not go see that home when we were in England?!?! Next year I say, next year.

5. If you are a fan on facebook you may have seen this photo already but I just realized I never shared photos from my brother’s and his new brides photo session. I will take care of that very soon – more photos from their session to come!!

adiah catherine | princeton newborn photographer

This little one is very special and loved beyond words! Mom + dad were just on the blog and one day a slideshow of her birth will be featured. She’s practically famous and she hasn’t been on this planet for a month yet!

Kristy is such an incredible mom. I’ve only known her a short while but seeing her interact with Adiah is beautiful. The first words out of Kristy’s mouth once Adiah arrived into the world was I love you. Nothing sweeter than that!
