birthday milestones | princeton lifestyle photographer

I’ve mentioned it time + time again how much I adore this family. Being able to photograph them grow from a couple to having these two precious little girls is the greatest honor for me. To celebrate Eva’s first birthday + Hannah’s fourth birthday, Jess chose an outdoor location in the Princeton area. I love the cheesy grins both girls gave me, that giraffe made it into the photos, that shoes came off, that slobbery kisses happened, + a lot of love was felt. This is my kind of lifestyle session!

I love the progression of seeing Eva losing her shoe as she crawls to momma!

This sweet, creative family came from Lancaster County to get in on the babywearing photo action a few weeks back. Having the opportunity to photograph inside Wegman’s was a dream come true. It’s one of my favorite grocery stores, though it tends to be crowded on any given day or time. It was raining the morning of our session, so I think that deter the store from being overrun with people!!

Luckily by the time we made it to our second location on Princeton’s campus, the downpour lightened up, allowing us to get some family photos.

This momma + poppa recently moved into the Princeton area with their 12 week old baby girl. Both of them wear this sweet babe, while doing chores (making coffee + doing the dishes for one!), going on a walk around the block, or just getting her to fall asleep (she loves being outdoors, even for such a little thing!). Capturing parents in total awe + love for their child(ren) makes me *almost* want to have to child right about now!!!

Last week, it was International Babywearing Week via Babywearing International. My friend, Esther of Esther Edith Galleries in the Boston area, organized photographers to participate in this fun week. While I had all intentions of sharing these photos on the blog last week, it just didn’t happen! I have another handful of posts coming with more momma’s wearing their babies, so I recommend you come back to check them out. 🙂

Kim + Carey are great friends, with two simply adorable kiddos, + they both have a slight obsession with gorgeous wraps. Taking photos in a public library typically isn’t a problem, but the librarian in the children’s area was grumpy. These toddlers made noise (shocking!!!), being chastised for running + playing! We had fun, despite the humidity + crazy librarian!

clearly

this happened. clearly someone no longer deserves an iPhone. my less than a year old 5s iPhone. I’ve ordered a new screen, borrowed the proper tools from a neighbor, and will spend a few hours changing it out. a shard of glass was in my foot, probably all day sunday, monday & finally I removed it after zumba on tuesday evening.

anyone have case recommendations? the unfortunate thing is I need access to the AUX since I use this when teaching and most of the heavy-duty cases make it nearly impossible. but maybe I’m wrong (please tell me I’m wrong!!!)
