Another year, another round of photos of these girls on Princeton University’s campus! I love seeing how much they have both changed, but how much they are still just the same sweet sweet girls that continue to love sports!
These two love birds were a joy to photograph in downtown Princeton!
For Emma’s 2nd year photos, I suggested we do the photos in their home for a lifestyle session. Their home is over 100 years old + has so much charm! Kim was completely on board. It also worked out well that it was a cold rainy Saturday!! Earlier this fall, we met up for a babywearing mini session, + if you’ve been a follower of the blog, Emma has graced this place multiple times! I love her + her family big time.
By the time I got back to Princeton, Kim texted me to tell me that her dress was on backwards for our entire session! I would have never known as she can pull off anything flawlessly!!
Kim Schmidt is an on location lifestyle photographer in the greater Princeton area. Even though the weather outside is cold, let’s showcase your family being themselves in the place you live!!! It can be making breakfast, baking, play time, snuggles in bed, the options are limitless! Hit me me up with your ideas.
I’ve never had puppy fever but the minute I met this sweet pup, Lucy, I started to think that maybe it’s time for us. Then I went home, knocked some sense into my self, + enjoyed the fact that I can play then leave (you know, the same how grandparents typically feel about their grandchildren, passing them back off to the parents! HA!!!).
For our family photo session, we met up in Lambertville. I can’t believe it was my first time to photograph a client there!! I adore the charm, but we weren’t able to show that off due to a busy weekend with a million people. A semi-skittish puppy does not mix well with wind + distractions. 🙂 Luckily there are so many hidden away spots that we had no troubles at all!! By now, little Lucy is probably not so little!
Gosh looking back at the beautiful colors + life in these images makes this cold, snowy weather almost bearable! Catherine+Jacob rocked this mini photo session like there was no tomorrow.
“I wanted to thank you for the wonderful photos of our family! The cards look incredible! They are the nicest cards we have ever done! I am truly happy with everything!” Receiving an email with this glowing review on Thanksgiving Day is the best compliment I can ever get. Thank you Deana for trusting me to photograph your family in the heart of Princeton University!
I couldn’t decide which to share, the color or B+W, so you get to see them both. Dad rowed in college so taking photos at the Princeton boathouse was extra special!
