Armed with a psychology degree, over a decade of experience as a nanny + a love for capturing life as it happens, I established Kim Schmidt Photography in 2008. Since then I have worked with hundreds of families to document precious moments. I primarily shoot on location in Oklahoma City with a focus on children + family photography.

my story

I’m Kim, a dedicated photographer, devoted wife, wanna-be-avid gardener, mostly-brilliant cook, Zumba instructor + super fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. I grew up in Oklahoma, calling Norman, Nashville, Princeton, OKC, + NOVA home. I am passionate about shopping + buying food locally, public libraries, spending quality time with my husband + kids, + taking walks with our boxer rescue, Baxter.
