As I begin this post, I am sitting in New Jersey while my mom is in the hospital with a bad case of pneumonia. I was set to get on a plane Wednesday morning but the weather cancelled it. Rescheduling the flight didn’t make sense, as I had a short window of time to get there to visit before making my way back for all my other duties. Thankfully I can look at these images with fondness + smile.
Another visit to Oklahoma for the holidays is in the books. The nephews are now 8 + 6, they are going to school full time, + excelling at just about everything they do. My side of the family celebrates Christmas Eve with a big dinner + church services. That means a nice long bath for the littles. Since they were dressed in their “Sunday best”, it seemed the perfect time for photos! Just days before, my mom was telling me that there is no way to capture Rylan’s big personality in photos (he’s in red). Challenge accepted mom! Of course, Connor had to get his photo on too! Or shall I say, he sat for a few seconds to get the treat that was in my hand – HA!
